AMIRON LTD is a distributor of Arcelor JSC, which subsidiary un Kazakhstan supplys CIS countries with coke raw materials. Our company has direct contracts with major producers like ArcelorMittal Temirtau (www.arcelormittall.kz) for the purchase of pitch distillate. It supplies it to consumers in the CIS countries. Our strategical Partner is OmskTechUglerod Production Association (currently part of the Omsk Carbon Group www.omskcarbongroup.com).
LLC “Omsktehuglerod” is one of the 10 world leaders in the production of carbon black. Most of the production is exported to consumers using carbon in the production of car tires, such as Michelin and Pirelli. In addition to pitch distillate, AMIRON LTD supplies raw materials and building materials.
Product line
Pitch distillate is a multicomponent mixture of aromatic compounds obtained on the basis of coal tar processing products. In appearance, the raw material is a liquid from dark green to dark brown in color with the presence of crystals. Pitch distillate has a wide range of applications.
In non-ferrous metallurgy as a binder in the production of electrode products and for the production of pitch coke (up to 73% of its total production), for the production of soft roofing, coal briquettes, in ferrous metallurgy, in the production of road tar and in road construction, in the production of varnishes.
In waterproofing and anti-corrosion works, pitch distillate is used in the manufacture of epoxy-hummer compositions, for the production of resins and road surfaces.
As well it used in road construction and in the production of roofing materials, paving slabs. It is also used to produce carbon black, which is used to make rubber products such as car tires. Coke-chemical raw materials for the production of carbon black, after processing, are transported in railway tanks in accordance with the rules for the carriage of goods in force in railway transport.
